2-Methyl-alpha-PVP (2-Me-PVP) is a stimulating drug of the cathinone class, a substituted derivative of cathinone, a designer substance developed as a replacement for a-PVP and has similar effects.
This substance is relatively new and its toxicological and pharmacological properties have not been fully studied.
2-Me-PVP is an inhibitor of dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake, causing effects such as stimulation, concentration in low doses, energy and euphoria, as studies on rodents have shown.
This substance is banned for sale in Germany and United Kingdom.
