4-PrO-DMT acts as an agonist of 5-HT1D, 5-HT1B and 5-HT1A serotonin receptors causing effects similar to psilocin.
There is little data on the dosage, toxicological and pharmacological properties of the drug, and the substance has not been fully studied.
4-PrO-DMT has an unclear legal status as a designer drug, and cannot be considered an analogue of psilocin(4-HO-DMT) in countries where analogues are banned.
